We are conducting a comprehensive feasibility study on establishing a carbon-negative concrete production facility in the Joensuu region of Finland. The project explores innovative CO₂ mineralization technologies and sustainable binders that significantly reduce or eliminate traditional cement use—one of the largest sources of global CO₂ emissions.
Our work covers the identification of local biogenic CO₂ sources, material flow and life-cycle analysis, techno-economic modelling, and stakeholder engagement at regional, national, and EU levels. The study will deliver a detailed business plan, market analysis, and implementation roadmap, paving the way for a viable, scalable carbon-negative construction solution. This initiative supports both climate goals and regional economic development, with results expected in 2025.
